Page 1: SelPar (Part Selection)

Purpose: This interface is used to select which parts to display.

This interface main purpose is to enable user to turn part on/off. It provides two levels:

  • 1. All part of type beam, shell, solid etc…
  • 2. Individually from the list or by picking a part to turn off from graphics window.

The list also provided typical extended selection methods. Group of parts can be saved and retrieved from buffers. Up to 10 buffers are available for use.

Controls:

  • Model selection drop down menu: For use when multiple models are loaded (Md1/Md2/Md3/etc...)

  • cbc Beam - Select/deselect Beam elements
  • cb Shell - Select/deselect Shell elements
  • cb Solid - Select/deselect Solid elements
  • cb Tshell - Select/deselect Tshell elements
  • cb Mass - Select/deselect Mass elements
  • cb Discrete - Select/deselect Discrete elements
  • cb Seatbelt - Select/deselect Seatbelt elements
  • cb Inertia - Select/deselect Inertia elements
  • cb Rsurf - Select/deselect Rigid-surface elements
  • cb SPHnd - Select/deselect SPH nodes elements
  • cb Fluid - Select/deselect Fluid elements

  • rbs Single - Remove/Keep parts using single pick
  • rb Area - Remove/Keep parts inside a user defined area
  • rb Polygon - Remove/Keep parts inside a user defined region

Save
 Save current active parts to selected buffer
Load
 Load parts from selected buffer

  • Part list (1)

  • Buff(n): Select part buffer to save/load
  • cbc Selected - List displayed parts only

 Show PART Info for selected parts (Fig 2)
