Page 2: MatDB (Material Database)

Purpose: This interface can be used to store material properties at some central location. This storage location can be private to a user or public to members of a group. Data from the material database can be reviewed and imported into a user model. Storage of material properties in the database is kept in LS-DYNA keyword format. Upon retrieval all the respective load curves are also imported and their ID's are offset automatically to fit the current model's numbering scheme.

Main Panel Controls:

Read
 Read material file
Write
 Output material database
Done
 Edit material database interface

  • DBType: Set current material database type
  • GroupBy: All available material type
  • Sort: Sort matdatabase list by name or type no.

 Add new material to database
Edit
 Edit material database
Del
 Delete material database
  • Select a material for operation (1)

Add
 Add curve to material database
Edit
 Edit curve in material database
Del
 Delete curve from material database
Plot
 Plot curve in material database
