Page 5: ABFold (Airbag Folding)

Purpose: This interface is used to define and view airbag folds. Four folding methods are supported: thin, thick, tuck, and spiral. Folds can be interactively defined and modified. Once fold definitions are created, they may be saved for later use.
Controls:
Create - Create a new fold definition
Modify - Modify an existing fold
- ID: Enter fold ID
- Title: Enter title for this fold
Show - Show the selected folds
- Fold Type: Select fold type
N1-N2 - Pick/Enter 2 node IDs to define the fold line
Pt+Dir - Define a point and a direction to define the fold line
N1 - Pick/Enter a node ID to define N1
N2 - Pick/Enter a node ID to define N2
Active - Pick a node to define the active side of the fold
Up - Fold the active side of the fold, up
Down - Fold the active side of the fold, down
- Thick: Enter thickness of shell
- Scale/Radius/Tolerance: Enter value
Ignore - Ignore thickness from previous folds- Ignore Move: Move the fold line nodes back by this amount
- Enter the number of steps to take for each fold during animation
Anim - Animate folds upon clicking folding
Loop - Loop animation of folds
Apply changes to fold definition
Execute all folds
Execute selected fold
Create fold lines by cutting elements
Step through all folds one at a time
Reset model to original geometry
Unfold airbag
Exit the Airbag Folding interface
Bottom Panel:

Save all fold definitions to file
Load fold definitions from a file
Cut/paste the selected fold to/from memory
Select all fold definitions
Clear fold definition selection
Delete selected fold definitions
