- Figure 1 - Wall Interface
Purpose: This interface is used for showing, creating, modifying, and deleting *RIGIDWALL cards in LS-DYNA. The main advantage of this interface is the ability to graphically view the various rigidwall definitions with the flexibility of positioning them using translate, rotate, and reflect functions.
Controls:
Show - Show existing *RIGIDWALL entities
Modify - Modify existing *RIGIDWALL entities
Create - Create new *RIGIDWALLN entities
Delete - Delete existing *RIGIDWALL entities
For Show, Modify, and Delete, the Entity Operation Interface is displayed in the secondary controls area.
Geometry - Set geometry option (bottom panel options shown below)
Cylind - Set geometry for cylinder
- Radius: Enter cylinder radius
- Length: Enter cylinder length
Flat - Set geometry for flat
- Flat Length: Enter flat length
- Flat Width: Enter flat width
- Node X: Pick or ender ID of node at y-coordinate of head of edge vector l
- Node Y: Pick or ender ID of node at x-coordinate of head of edge vector l
- Node Z: Pick or ender ID of node at z-coordinate of head of edge vector l
Prism - Set geometry for prism
- Pri_L: Enter prism length
- Pri_W: Enter prism width
- Pri_H: Enter prism height
- Node X: Pick or ender ID of node at y-coordinate of head of edge vector l
- Node Y: Pick or ender ID of node at x-coordinate of head of edge vector l
- Node Z: Pick or ender ID of node at z-coordinate of head of edge vector l
Sphere - Set geometry for sphere
- Radius: Enter sphere radius
Planar - Set planar option (bottom panel options shown below)
Finite - Set planar for finite
Forces - Set planar for forces
Moving - Set planar for moving
- Mass: Total mass of stonewall
- VO: Initial velocity of stonewall in direction of defining vector, n
Ortho - Set planar for ortho
- Label: Set current entity label type
Display Node Set - Display Node Set
- Click item from list to select

For Create: GeoVector, the panel in Figure 2 is shown in the secondary controls area. Embedded in middle portion of this panel is the Vector Operation Interface.
