Note: LS-PrePost 2.1 must be used for this tutorial! A new MetalForming appliation is currently being developed for LS-PrePost 2.2, and an updated tutorial will be posted when that work is complete.
This tutorial focusses on the set-up process of a sheet metal forming analysis using the MetalForming interface. All components have been meshed ahead of time, and the tools are at their home positions.
- 1. Load meshed parts and open MetalForming interface
- launch LS-PrePost
- File → Open → LS-Dyna Keyword
- open "mf_mesh.k"
- Applications → MetalForming
