Introduction to LS-PrePost

Objective

Learn how to use LS‐PrePost to (a) prepare keyword input files for LS‐DYNA (b) post‐process LS‐DYNA output files. There is a 1‐day version of the course that covers the basics of pre and post‐processing. There is also a 2‐day version that covers the general topics in greater detail and spends more time on geometry (CAD) operations. The class is divided 50/50 between lecture and hands‐on workshops.

Audience

This course is recommended for anyone that currently uses or plans to use LS‐DYNA. No prior experience is necessary, although familiarity with general finite element terminology is helpful.

Notes

Lectures begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 5:00 p.m. The classroom machines are PCs running Linux (CA) or Windows (MI).
